Food Distribution

At We Help, we pick up, sort, and distribute food four days a week. Food pick-up and sorting takes place on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, while distribution is scheduled for Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and Wednesdays between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

We own a 12ft box truck equipped with a hydraulic tailgate and a Ford Transit refrigerated van. This van, a generous gift from the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, is a testament to the remarkable growth We Help has achieved in the last three years. Our food distribution is staffed by around 40 volunteers, dedicating 150 hours each week to handle 40,000 pounds of food monthly.

Beyond our main food distribution events on Saturdays and Wednesdays, our collaborative partners distribute food monthly on three additional days. This results in a total of eleven food distribution days every month.
